An Update from Epson & Baker on COVID-19

Today, a Colorado statewide stay-at-home order went into effect that will last until at least April 11, 2020. Only ‘critical businesses’ will continue full operation as specified by Colorado Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) in compliance with the Public Health Order 20-24

Epson & Baker Technologies is considered an ‘essential’ and a ‘critical business’ under this executive order due to our role supporting the public service of collecting and processing recycling. Epson & Baker remains ready to help our customers maintain operations throughout the COVID-19 crisis.

As outlined in my previous update earlier this month, Epson & Baker took swift action to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, ensuring the safety of our team, and adapting our business to the conditions caused by the virus. Since then, we continue to take significant precautions across our business with protocols and compliance in our manufacturing operations, while investing in and maintaining a highly productive virtual workplace for those who can do their jobs remotely.

For our recycling customers and supply partners, service, support, and communication remains our top priority. We’re very sensitive to how COVID-19 affects your business both near and long term. Our team is taking action daily to understand how your business is affected by the virus, including recognizing workplace policies and constraints that you might be dealing with. We’re here to work with you on installation plans, production schedules, and related logistics as necessary, as well as to address any service needs that require our immediate support.

The principles guiding Epson & Baker’s technology solutions are safety and productivity. We know these priorities  are even more critical now as you take steps to protect your employees, navigate virus risk in facilities, deal with medical waste in material streams, and adapt to volume and material changes caused by sudden shifts in consumer buying behavior. And you’re doing this while managing labor shortages and the need for service continuity. You’re overcoming so much while continuing to serve the needs of our communities.

I have nothing but admiration and deep support for what you and your teams are doing. I want you to know that we’re here for you and will do everything we can to help your business operate as effectively and efficiently as possible. And here at Epson & Baker, we’ll continue to innovate new solutions to aid your efforts to help your business emerge from this crisis stronger than ever.

Sincerely,
